What was once the start of the Silk Road to the west, Dujiangyan has a long history. During the earthquake on the 12 May 2008, the town was damaged badly. The Chinese government is focused on bringing prosparity back to the town in the form of tourism. A trainline has been built costing millions of dollars to transport people from the city of Chengdu.

The traditional food in Chongqing is hotpot. Usually you will see hotpot restaurants evrywhere, from the very basic to the sophisticated. Liu Yin Chun has opened his to teach the younger generation how to cook food in a hotpot properlly.
